This study uses high-resolution cosmological simulations to investigate the origin of anomalous nitrogen-to-oxygen ratios in high-redshift galaxies like GN-z11. It demonstrates that stellar winds from massive stars during intense starbursts produce transient nitrogen enrichment, while also showing the co-formation of compact galaxies and star clusters exhibiting chemical features similar to local globular clusters.
