Triangle, held at CERN on 13-16 February 2002 to study the determination of the
CKM matrix from the available data of K, D, and B physics. This is a coherent
document with chapters covering the determination of CKM elements from tree
level decays and K and B meson mixing and the global fits of the unitarity
triangle parameters. The impact of future measurements is also discussed.

Erlangen-NürnbergCenter for Astrophysics Harvard & SmithsonianThe Line Emission Mapper (LEM) mission concept proposes a new X-ray observatory designed to map the warm-hot baryonic matter in galactic halos and the cosmic web, addressing the “missing baryon” problem. It achieves this with a large-grasp X-ray mirror combined with an eV-class microcalorimeter array, providing unprecedented spectral resolution and a wide field-of-view in the soft X-ray band.
