An extensive Suzaku study detected an anomalous ~0.7 keV X-ray emission feature in the Cygnus Loop, attributed to charge-exchange (CX) processes, which resolves the long-standing "enhanced" metal abundance puzzle by demonstrating that pure thermal models misinterpret this CX contribution. This work suggests uniform low metal abundances across the remnant's rim.
