Researchers from Vietnamese institutions developed ColonFormer, an efficient Transformer-based model for colon polyp segmentation. The architecture combines a Mix Transformer encoder and a UPerNet decoder with a novel Residual Axial Reverse Attention refinement module, achieving state-of-the-art accuracy and improved computational efficiency across five benchmark datasets.
