Researchers from USTC and Huawei Noah's Ark Lab introduced ContinuousSR, a "Pixel-to-Gaussian" framework that models high-resolution images as a continuous 2D Gaussian field. This approach achieves state-of-the-art arbitrary-scale super-resolution quality with an impressive 19.5 times speedup and 1 millisecond rendering per scale, while maintaining minimal memory usage.
