Watchlist Challenge: 3rd Open-set Face Detection and Identification

The 3rd Watchlist Challenge evaluated state-of-the-art face detection and open-set face identification algorithms in realistic outdoor surveillance scenarios using an enhanced UCCS dataset. The challenge found that while face detection capabilities are generally robust, open-set identification shows greater performance variability, with pre-trained models like DERMALOG-F3Y640S and V2IP-AdaFace demonstrating strong performance in minimizing false positives and identifying watchlist individuals, respectively.
