This paper introduces a conversational robotic system that interacts with people living with dementia and simultaneously analyzes their speech for six specific biomarkers indicative of cognitive impairment. The system uses a fine-tuned large language model to maintain natural conversation flow with sub-1.5 second response times, demonstrating that its composite biomarker score correlates moderately with MMSE scores and can differentiate between individuals with varying cognitive impairment levels.
